Tim's Assessment
Most of the families who call me want the same three things. Land with its own water. A house they do not have to fix before they can live in it. Room to grow into the homestead they have been planning for years. Most properties give you one, maybe two. This one checks all three.
Three springs run here year round, with a pond at the top of the property and another at the bottom. If you are planning on cattle, sheep, or a garden big enough to actually feed your family, that is the difference between hauling water in August and watching it take care of itself. A road runs all the way to the top, so you can reach every part of all 100 acres.
The farmhouse was built in 2025 with 2x6 exterior walls. Three bedrooms, two baths, and 2,108 square feet on the main level, with a full basement of the same footprint underneath. That is double the space to finish however your family needs: root cellar, canning kitchen, workshop, or more bedrooms.
The builders thought ahead. Electricity is already run to the outside for a wraparound deck, and the middle windows can be converted into doors so you walk straight out onto it. Buy something solid now, build the next piece when you are ready. That is how a homestead comes together.
